This page explains, in plain language, what happens to information when you use Gelaito.

Your business data stays on your device

Leads, payments, expenses, tasks, saved emails and settings are stored in your browser's own storage (IndexedDB) on the device you're using. Gelaito has no server-side database and no user accounts, so this data is not sent to us and we can't see, recover or delete it for you.

Anyone who can use your browser profile can open Gelaito and see the data, so use your device's own lock screen and user accounts.

Backups and exports

Backup files (.json) and spreadsheet exports (.csv) are saved wherever you choose. Keep them somewhere safe; they contain your business records in readable form.

Optional AI

AI features are off by default. If you turn them on and add your own Anthropic API key, then each time you press "Send to Anthropic" the text shown in the preview is sent from your browser directly to Anthropic under your account and their terms. Contact email addresses and phone numbers are left out of these requests. Your key is kept in your browser only and is never included in backups or exports.

No tracking

The Gelaito site and app don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

Your theme and workspace choice are remembered in your browser's local storage.

Buying Gelaito

Purchases are handled by Payhip, which processes payment and delivers your download under its own privacy policy. Gelaito never receives your card details.
